Abstract: To study the zero level of hearing for young students, and also to find the fundamental data for screening of good ear, the pure tone hearing level of three groups of young students were investigated, including a group of rural primary and secondary school students, a group of graduate students and a group of college students. Based on the analysis of the measured data, it is found that the hearing level is different from the data measured by other researchers. The fundamental data for screening of good ear is also proposed.
