Abstract: For spreading the application of Lamb wave to non-destructive inspection, the detection parameter curves related to Lamb wave inspection are studied. A set of software for drawing the Lamb wave detection parameter curves is specially designed by the arithmetic analyzes of symmetrical and asymmetrical modes of Lamb wave frequency characteristic equation and the software of VC++. Meanwhile the parameters of wedge structure of Lamb wave transducers are designed by the incident angle curves, and Lamb wave transducers are made. And, the problems of drawing and application of Lamb wave detection parameter curves are also solved. The plotted parameter curves are suitable for Lamb wave inspection of thin plates of different materials and types.
