Abstract:
The performance evaluation of underwater acoustic systems on offshore aquaculture platforms in complex marine environments is crucial for ensuring the safety and efficiency of underwater operations. This study, based on the application scenario of offshore aquaculture platforms, establishes a multi-dimensional acoustic compatibility index system, including communication reliability, positioning accuracy, and detection sensitivity. Meanwhile, the acoustic compatibility index(ACI) calculation model is developed based on a mathematical model for a systematic evaluation of the performance of underwater acoustic systems in noisy environments. Through measured analyses of platform noise, the noise frequencies are found to concentrate below 300 Hz, with spectrum levels lower than 120 dB. The system performance evaluation results, based on the acoustic compatibility index system, show an ACI value of 0.93, indicating that the underwater acoustic system exhibits good compatibility and stability under the current noise environment.
