Abstract: Wuhan Moon Bay City Balcony locates in the Wuchang Ecological Culture Corridor, which is one of the nine major city balconies in Wuhan and designed by the British Zaha Hadid Architects and the Central South Architectural Design Institute Co., Ltd. In order to improve the identification of the balcony of the Yangtze River city and highlight the cultural characteristics of the Yangtze River, a soundscape design strategy aiming at improving the comfort, recognition and logo is proposed. Through the questionnaires, field experiments and computer simulations, the conclusions of the soundscape element's preference and satisfaction are obtained, and the technical means are used to realize the fineness, sound, contrast and masking of the soundscape elements after optimization design for creating a good sound space atmosphere, obtaining a comfortable space sound field experience, providing a solution for the soundscape design of the outdoor open space.
