Abstract:
In order to support research and evaluate the performance of the Doppler velocity log (DVL) signal processing algorithm, the seabed echo signal needs to be simulated, so a low-distortion seabed echo model needs to be constructed. A fan-ring shaped seabed echo model is proposed in this paper, and on this basis, an optimized model of seabed echo based on scattering theory is constructed. A comparative analysis of the optimized seabed echo model and the traditional model is carried out. The study results show that the optimized model has a smaller error in envelope characteristics relative to the real seabed echo than the traditional model, especially the envelope characteristic error of broadband echo is reduced by more than 20%. The effectiveness and superiority of the constructed echo model is verified.
