Abstract:
Measuring ocean noise by autonomous underwater glider is a new method of noise measurement, which has the advantages of high automation, high efficiency and low cost compared with the previous methods by ocean survey ships and submerged buoys. In order to measure ocean noise by an underwater glider, a software and hardware noise measurement system integrating main control, acquisition and storage is developed. This system uses a low-power consumption acquisition and storage system. The test results in a certain sea area show that the developed noise measurement system has the advantages of low power consumption and convenient storage, and it can well accomplish the ocean ambient noise measurement task of underwater gliders, and has good application prospects.
