Abstract: Organophosphorus pesticides have very strong toxicity. Serious attention has been paid looking for an effective way of degrading organophosphorus pesticides. This paper introduced an mechanism of ultrasonic degradation of organophosphorus pesticides. The research progress of ultrasonic degradation of five pesticides including methamidophos and etc. were summarized. A comparative analysis between degradation effect and key physical parameters was made. Some key technical problems focusing on applying ultrasonic degradation technology and the tendency of future development were proposed.
