Abstract: A practical method of simulating reverberation signal based on the statistical model was presented in which ellipse filter was employed to filter the high frequency narrowband signal. Simulation results showed that the simulated reverberation signal was well accordant with theoretical conclusion on both signal pattern and statistical characteristics. Moreover, other characteristics of reverberation signal such as correlation and energy distribution in time-frequency field were also summarized in this paper.
