Abstract:
To meet the requirements of underwater vehicle positioning and tracking tests over a wide area, an intensive research on tracking and testing technology based on the bottom-seated type of underwater acoustic network nodes has been conducted, and a compact underwater acoustic network node with a horizontal mounting structure, which can be controlled for recycling by underwater acoustic or photoelectric signals, is developed. Due to its light structure, high efficient deployment and reliable recovery are achieved. By deploying underwater acoustic network nodes on the seat bottom in series along a water zone, a long baseline tracking test system is formed, which can be used to realize location, tracking, telemetry and other navigation functions. For verifying the functions of location, tracking and telemetry, boat running tests on the lake are conducted. The test results show that the system achieves high location tracking accuracy and reliable navigational parameters telemetry at lower error code rates. The system can cover a wide operating area, so it can be widely used in underwater vehicle location tracking, navigation test and so on, with high practical engineering value.
