Abstract: The technology to simulate radiating noise from vessels is studied in this paper. The models to simulate noise with linear spectrum, continuous spectrum and amplitude modulation are provided, and computer simulations are provided too. The hardware structure of a programmable simulator is also proposed. By signal processing to the output of the simulator, the results show that the simulator can reconstitute typical acoustic signatures of radiating noise from vessels.
