Abstract: In this paper, an algorithm which combines the ray tracing method,the image method and the Monte Carlo method is designed to calculate the acoustical field in rooms with directional sources. A corresponding computer program is designed and some parameters,such as the pressure level and the impulse response,can be calculated by the program . In the two examples, the pressure levels are calculated and the results are compared with those calculated by the sound pressure superposition method.
