Abstract:
Using ultrasonic technique,the longitudinal and shear velocity(
V1,
Vs)of ultrasonic wave propagated through a bulk amorphous alloy Zr
41Ti
14Cu
12.5Ni
10.0Be
22.5 were measured at differential annealing temperatures,meanwhile the density(ρ),micro hardness(
Hv)and X-ray diffraction of the sample were detected.The glass transition process on amorphous alloy was studied systematically,in special at undercool liquid region.These results reveal close relationship between the elastic properties and microstructural characteres at nucleation and crystallization process of amorphous alloy.
