Abstract: The mobility matrix is one of usual physics parameter to characterize structure-born sound sources.Studying the statistical distribution of the mobility matrix element has good benefit to simplify characterization of structure-borne sound sources Two typical fan has been studied and the results of the work has shown that the mobility matrix element have a log10normal magnitude distribution It provides a simplified analysis tool to be of practical use of mobility matrix.
