Abstract:
Research of acoustical environment of classrooms is a current hotspot in architectural acoustics.Progress in classroom acoustics research is reviewed in this paper.Calculation methods for parameter evaluation are introduced.Approaches for improving the auditory environment in classrooms are presented.It has been shown that the key problems of the present studies on classroom acoustics are evaluation and improvement of the auditory environment in classrooms,rather than surveys of noise sources and their influences on teachers and students,which used to be the primary concerns.
