Abstract:
Digital techniques are proposed used to develop pink noise for power handling test of AES standard,including development of white noise sequence,optimization of pink noise filter,bandwidth and attenuation control,and peak factor control.Two input-output soft-clip functions that mimic the diode full-wave soft clipping have been designed to control the peak factor of digital sequences.Several AES standard pink noises of different bandwidths are generated.The results show that the method is feasible,and it can easily be applied in the digital testing of AES standard.
