Abstract: A new objective method for evaluation of nonlinear distortion is proposed.A multi-tone is used as the objective signal.By using an auditory model to process the original and distorted signal,the perceptual cepstrum distance is obtained and used as an objective parameter.Subjective validation experiments verify that when proper signal sources are used,correlation between objective and subjective results can exceed 0.84.
