Abstract: We have studied sound quality of car door slamming for 35 cars by considering both subjective and objective aspects.Three factors related to the general favors were found from a rating scale method based on a psychoacoustic test.They are bass,bank and workmanship.Meanwhile,metallicity was found to be a decisive factor.The indexes of the cars and the objective parameter of the sound are also discussed.
