Abstract: Methods to eliminate transfer matrix parameters of a straight tube and a rectangle anechoic elbow depending on the theory of sound waveguides are proposed. The main steps for analyzing high frequency acoustical performance of a ventilation and sound insulation window by using transfer matrix method are discussed. Sound insulation of a real ventilation window is calculated and measured,both in good agreement.
