Abstract: Using N×2D approximate algorithm,the vertical directionality of ambient sea noise with uniform distributed surface sources and slope bottom is calculated based on ray method.The effects of seawater absorption,bottom reflection loss and sound speed profiles on the vertical directionality are considered.The result shows all these three factors especially sound speed profiles affect the directionality in the slope-bottom sea.
