Abstract: Based on the difference of target time-delay measured by different element of underwater acoustic array,a new method of measuring target velocity is proposed,and the error analysis is made.Testing data verify that the measuring precision reach 0.2 knots,and so the problem of measuring under-water target velocity can be solved by using the existing locating equipment.
