Abstract: The evaluation of soundscape and the state of art of both domestic and abroad are discussed in this paper.Based on the investigation of soundscape at typical regions in Xi'an,the main sound factors in urban public areas and the objective and subjective factors of soundscape evaluation are concluded.Through the investigation of soundscape in different places and at different times of a certain place,the influence of factors including season,time and location on soundscape evaluation are also summarized,and the factors of soundscape evaluation and their relationships are discussed.
