Abstract: The fundamental of Multi-streamer Positioning is described firstly.Then the positioning model is built up,and main problems related to the construction of the arrays are discussed.The effectual solutions for arrays design and simulation results are presented.Simulations show that the model is more accurate than the traditional model for underwater positioning.
