Abstract: Low-frequency ultrasound has the therapeutic potential.With research deep-going,the mechanism of low-frequency ultrasound in medical treatment,especially the cavitation effect,has been widely accepted.This article focus on three aspects: transdermal drug delivery,promoting chronic wounds healing and antineoplastic therapy,to introduce the research progress of low-frequency ultrasound.How to put the low-frequency ultra-sound into the clinical practice preferably? The safety should be guaranteed,and the efficiency will be the future direction for the research.
