Abstract: The advances in the acoustic quieting of submarines will necessitate the use of active sonar as on adjunct as a means of dedecting submarines, bring about a deep research in high-power,low-frequency projectors The needs and limiting factors for high-power, low frequency are discussed and different type projectors of high-power and low-frequency are compared.
