Abstract: Every one has their own characteristics in ear shape and the details.Manufacturing artificial ears,which reflect average physiological characteristics of Chinese adults,needs the average morphological characteristics of auricles.Based on the measurement of auricle morphological characteristics for total 202 Chinese grown-up men and 202 women,the classification of auricles and the corresponding analysis has been made,and according to the statistical results the representative average ear’s characteristics are given.Finally from the auricle’s different physiological structures,ten kinds of auricle models are manufactured on the basis of average ears.
