Abstract
To effectively solve the problem of abnormal throttling noise in flow regulating valves under high-pressure differential conditions, the mechanism of regulating valve noise generation was analyzed, and a low-noise optimization design scheme for multi-hole throttling was proposed. The flow noise characteristics before and after optimization were compared and analyzed using simulation and experimental methods. Numerical calculations and experimental results showed that the flow noise in the system was effectively suppressed after optimization, and the noise reduction effect of porous throttling was significant. The total sound pressure level of test and simulation results at the monitoring point after optimization were compared, and the error between the experimental measurement value and the simulation calculation value was within 2%, verifying the engineering application value of the boundary element method for calculating flow noise.
