Low noise optimization design and experimental varification of multi-hole throttling for water injection flow regulating valve

  • To solve the problem of abnormal throttling noise in flow regulating valves under high-pressure differential conditions, the mechanism of regulating valve noise generation is analyzed, and a low-noise optimization design scheme for multi-hole throttling is proposed. The flow noise characteristics before and after optimization are compared and analyzed respectively by simulations and experiments. Numerical calculations and experimental results show that the flow noise in the system is effectively suppressed after optimization, and the noise reduction effect of porous throttling is significant. The experimental and simulation results of the total sound pressure level of flow noise from optimized measurement points are compared, and the error between the experimental measurement value and the simulation calculation value is within 2%, verifying the engineering application value of the boundary element method for calculating flow noise.
