A study of ultrasound effect on sludge treatment

Ultrasonic technology has been successfully used for the sludge treatment. Mechanism and ch-aracteristics of the ultrasound treatment are introduced. Effect factors including the ultrasound intensity,ultrasonic intensity,sonochemical reactor design,ultrasonic transducer design,the factors of sludge and so on have been analyzed. Finally the existing problem is pointed out in applications of ultrasonic techn-ology for sludge treatment,and the future development orientation is discussed in this paper.
