Research on processing technique of eliminating wave-induced distortion effect on sub-bottom profile

To eliminate the influence of wave on the sub-bottom profile,a new processing method is presented.The proposed approach firstly picks up the first arrival automatically based on the improved energy ratio method,and then performs median filtering and moving average filtering to process the first arrival according to its feature.Difference between the unprocessed and post-processed first arrival is considered to be the time shift caused by the wave.Subtracting the time shift from the original profile record can eliminate the wave-induced distortion effect on sub-bottom profile.The real data processing results show that this processing method is effective and useful.
