    Abstract
  • Linear Frequency Modulated(LFM) signal is a good choice in sonar and radar systems 1.In this paper the Fast Chirp Transform(FCT) algorithm and the related fast Fractional Fourier Transform(FRFT) algorithm are introduced,and it has been shown how the two algorithms can be used to detect the LFM signal effectively.In the end,an experiment is made to indicate the good performance of the FCT algorithm in signal detection.
